Say goodbye to ordinary glitter. The Boku-Undo Gansai Aurora set is a masterpiece of Japanese artisanal innovation. Created in Nara by the prestigious Boku-Undo, a brand with over two centuries of mastery in ink production, this set was developed with ultra-fine interference mica particles.
In the pan, the colours appear almost entirely white or light grey. But as soon as they touch the paper, they reveal a spectacle of light, colour, and multi-dimensional reflections.
The Color-Shift Effect
The great exclusivity of the Aurora line is its ability to reflect light dynamically. Unlike common metallic paints that always maintain the same tone, these colours change and transform depending on the viewing angle and the inclination of the paper. Additionally, Boku-Undo's traditional formula uses high-quality binders that set with a sophisticated and creamy finish, avoiding the excessively artificial or pasty look of other brands.
Boku-Undo's Aurora line is composed purely of Synthetic Interference Mica coated with Titanium Dioxide and Metal Oxides. Due to this inorganic mineral composition, the paints do not use traditional ASTM pigments but offer exceptional long-term permanence.
According to independent long-term lightfastness tests, none of the colours showed fading or alteration after several months of direct sun exposure:
